<p>When Aircraft Structures Limited came to us to design and develop a website for its sub brand, ASL Interiors, they were a group of professional engineers who wanted a website that reflected their services and a logo to go along with this. Enter stage right: Wots the Big Idea…</p>
<p>We have been working with the 2 companies now over the last couple of months to produce a professional, cohesive look for the company that is evidential of their highly regarded professionalism within the Aerospace industry.</p>
<p>Aircraft Structures Limited wanted to create a brand to reflect their global work in the Aeronautical Industry and produce a stamp of authority. ASL Interiors wanted to show its close associations to its mother company whilst ascertaining its own identity as a stand-alone company within the business of aircraft interiors.</p>
<p>Designing the logo is the first step towards creating a whole brand experience for Aircraft Structures Limited that is going to make them stand out from their competitors, give them instant credibility, and build a brand awareness amongst their customers and future customers. Their logo is an overall image of power, quality, seriousness and  professionalism that starts the moment their clients come into contact with the company. The website will reinforce this message, enhance their image and hopefully help to make them even more successful!</p>

It came at a very opportune time for Luton Culture to be able to to launch the second phase of their Culture Card project, without digging into funds. We took the Luton Culture logo along with their existing marketing materials and created a look and feel for their online marketing that would reflect their offline presence. Using our skill and knowledge, we helped Luton Culture produce an information based email that was sent out to 2,500 of their new users, telling them about offers available around the Luton area.</p>

<p>The new 1001 website is so much more user friendly than its predecessor as well as being visually more impactful, and structurally more sound. We&#8217;re really proud of this site both in terms of the way it looks and the way it works. A fully content manageable site; the back end is extensive but still easy for the client to use, allowing them to constantly update their site with news, new products and current information. We were awarded this job due to our proven track-record from the work we have done with 3-in-1 Oil (also part of the WD-40 group) and the client has been very impressed with the quality and the timeliness of the work we have done.</p>
<p>Along with the all-round modernisation of the site, we have implemented Search Engine Optimisation into the back end of the site which is already showing extraordinary results even though the site has only been live for 1 month. Average daily hits have increased from 7 to 40 a day with an interesting peak on New Years Eve with lots of stain searches going on&#8230; Red wine on carpets perhaps..?</p>

<p>Running a charity is never easy at the best of times, and in the depths of recession, it takes something a little bit special to inspire people&#8230; Well it seems that the MK Midnight Moo event has provided just that little something special that has encouraged individuals to make a stand for a cause they believe in and get them motivated to help. Last year, the MK Midnight Moo raised £100,000, this year, the cause has doubled the number of entries to 2,000 and, if the entrant’s pledges are realised, is hoping to raise up to £200,000!  The event has even caused enough of a ripple to get it noticed by the Financial Times, with a four page feature on August 14th. <p>So why has it been so successful? Well it&#8217;s down to hard work and planning. This year we&#8217;ve worked incredibly hard to build a web site &amp; email marketing campaign to make it look fun and in-keeping with the whole spirit of the event, and more importantly, making it work well so that it&#8217;s easy to get involved. The web site tells you how much money has been raised, when the next event is and most importantly, how you can be a part of it! With Search Engine Optimisation, the site is easy to find on Google, ranking at number one on ‘Milton Keynes sponsored walk’ and making the front page on 90% of its search terms. Next year, we want the MK Midnight Moo to raise over £250,000 and we&#8217;re currently working on updating the site to help make this possible. <p>Working in conjunction with the Kenya Tourist Board on behalf of MDS Ideas, this fully encompassing marketing campaign covered consumer and trade markets with on and offline marketing.</p>
<h3>Wots good about it?</h3>
<p>This was a joint campaign aimed at 2 different markets but with the common aim of raising the profile of Kenya as a holiday destination and generating holiday bookings. The microsites were designed in tandem and targeted specifically to consumers and tour operators. The consumer site was an interactive site with video, Flash animation, lots of imagery and information plus a competition. The trade site was an incentives fueled site designed to get bookings. These were supported by other online marketing initiatives such as email marketing and animated banner advertising as well as offline marketing in the form of press advertising.</p>
<p>Wots the Big Idea created a cohesive campaign that integrated nicely into its separate markets across both online and offline media.</p>
